Those teeny, tiny lamps on either side of the bed are just painful. If you're going bold with a black wall, be bold enough to get at least average-size lamps, if not bigger, to balance out the room. That black dining room by Alina Apteker just makes me swoon, especially in magnificent natural light filtered through gauzy draperies. I love the combination of elegant-meets-rustic. Too busy and "stuffed with stuff" for my taste, but obviously this is an apartment filled with love and memories. I love how the personal style is boldly reflected and that the space is used to its fullest potential (I heart the fridge, too!). Love the space - looks very well organized. Love the giant floor mirror in the bedroom, but the tiny mirror above the headboard looks too little for the space. I never thought I'd love such a dark gray on the walls, but you have pulled it off wonderfully.
