Why are these hotels you never want to leave if you've never been there? You should definitely visit, but moving to a place you've never been is sort of odd. I used to work on a makeover show on a major cable net. Our carpenter was a Polish immigrant who could build anything, and was smokin' hot as well. Could not speak English very well, so the EP decided that he'd just do all of this on-camera work without speaking and without a shirt. Yes! Great house, great tour, and a great write-up! I wish all the tours were self-guided. But I have a feeling that Jessie can do a great job for the homes of others as well. I think the house is actually pretty great, but these photos don't do a great job of telling the story. In general, I'd rather hear more from the homeowners, and less write-up from bloggers. (In fact--no write-up works well for me.) Maybe a video tour with an on-camera interview would be better or at least an option. The House Tour Questionnaire could use an update as well. "Masion Un" should be Maison Une. The house is really great, but this isn't my idea of good writing--the description is working way too hard to be like a shelter magazine piece.
