I really enjoyed this house tour. A happy family of both 2 legged and 4 legged variety.

I have only seen bits and pieces of the show. However it appears they go into homes of already wealthy people and do make overs. People who have the means to afford designers of their own. How about sending them to my house where I could actually use design help with no means to pay for it on my own.Although, seeing this "after" -maybe I will just stick with my TJ Maxx and Target finds on my own

I am in love with your home, your style. It really feels every piece was chosen carefully and has a story. The colors on the walls? Perfection. I moved into my place 5 months ago and am in Benjamin Moore swatch hell. They are all over my walls in an attempt to decide. Woodlawn Blue is a serious contender. After seeing it in your home? Ding! Ding! We have a winner!!! I looked at places in Belmont and in Arlington. I really like the area. I am not that far now so I have decided we are going to be friends. Love this home. It is comfortable, welcoming and has personality. The love for your kitty is adorable. I must ask where you got both the platform to elevate the kitty bowls and there puke sign. Both are needed in our home. Two cats run this house. I really loved this home tour. Going to check your blog now.

Got caught up and forgot to ask about the plaster walls. I too have plaster walls as I live in a hundred year old home north of Boston. How do you hang large heavier items. I too have the metal organizer from Pottery Barn and I am still scared to try to hang it as I think it is just going to tear the plaster. I have it leaned against the wall. People think it is clever design. Little do they know :)

Very cute place. I do feel at home as I tour it. I would have accepted the drink invitation. I see many plants I love in this home. I also see a beautiful cat in this home. This combo does not seem to be working in my home. Gosh, I miss my plants. Great job you two, you place is fantastic.
