I tried the trick on two JCrew cashmere sweaters a few years ago and it worked very well. It did not damage the sweaters. However choose a new razor and do not spend too much time on one area in particular.

Another amazing feature about these rooms at Versailles is the wallpaper. This enfilade is a set of ten rooms. Each room has the exact same velvet wallpaper. However, the wallpaper was made in ten different colours, one for each room. Grandiose!

This coffee table was made by IKEA around 2005. Luckily I bought one before they discontinued it. They should bring it back!

I have been there last summer and was somewhat disapointed. With a $20 entry I thought that they would invest money to acquire some nice furniture (the original furniture was sold off when Sir Pellatt went bankrupt) or at least have a neat museum to tell the story of the Casa Loma and their owners.
Moreover, when I went, there was a quilt exhibition which kind of ruined it for me.
The gardens and the view on Toronto are both very nice.
