That hasn't happened to me, but if it'd did I'd so go with it! I love traditions, and it seems like a great way to get to know your neighbors!

Do You Embrace the Traditions of Your New Home?

My parents have separated but I still feel at home any time I visit either one of them. My mom lives in the house we lived in since I was a baby, and my dad lives in an apartment above our family business that's been open since 1918.
Since this economy is so bad and I'm an only child (my mom doesn't need a 3 bedroom house to herself!) my room has been rented out, so it feels a little less like home, but all my things and pets are still there. :)

I'm with Mattster. It doesn't even show any of the decor?

Thanks. The doors were purchased here: http://www.pacacc.org/page/salvage/warehouseI believe doors were originally 20-40 but the guy cut me a deal. If you are ever in central Illinois, it's worth checking out!

McGregor! My favorite little town. The second I saw this it reminded me of the store Paper Moon. I bought some cool stuff there.

Hey mac207, thank you for mentioning me! I am an avid reader of apartment therapy but hardly ever post. I'd love for my work to be posted here sometime, and I think I have a great story for the editors! It involved something I found on the site through the classifieds. I should get in touch with them I suppose. :)

My fridge does that, and my oven beeps if anything is set on the buttons or if it gets wet. It makes doing everything, especially cleaning, incredibly annoying.
