$600 is what that bed costs new. Do they not know furniture depreciates as soon as it's out the store? I guess some people will look at it as saving tax delivery, but delivery costs for R B are low to begin with. That's ridiculous.

I actually love the grey. Pick one primary color (green?) and maybe another secondary color and stick with that scheme to give the place a unified look while giving it the color splashes that you need. The grey gives it an interesting look. White is just going to look like every other apartment box out there.

Love the yellow in the bathroom and the kitchen is fabulous too--what a great workspace!

Crate training is a good way to work with your dog and to keep them safe when you aren't able to watch them. It's the best method to do this. They scream not because they are in a cage, but because they can no longer see their people...you leaving, etc, etc. There are many things a puppy can get into when they are not supervised. MOST dogs feel very secure in crates and many willingly go into theirs because it is their space and their space only--it's a safe haven for them...thing of how foxes and other dog relatives exist in the wild...they live and sleep in small dens. It's certainly not cruel unless you leave them in there for hours upon hours upon hours.

I'm an equestrian and I think there are some fabulous horse design items that can be incorporated into a modern design. These aren't it and are pretty atrocious. I only voted 'not hot' given the samples here.

ugh--that decor makes me sick! I wouldn't think storing a nice tv under a dusty bed would be the brightest idea. The video in the link is truly frightening.

I ordered a couch from Room & Board that was slightly (and I mean slightly) damaged in the delivery process and they were going to send a replacement one once it arrived. I decided I wanted to go cheap (cheap Ikea sofa instead) because I didn't want to damage such a nice R&B sofa when I was going to be moving out of the apartment in less than a year (and it would very likely get more damaged moving it out of my apartment than it was when moving in) and decided it was best to get a nicer sofa at a later date. Room and Board took it back without a problem, more than a month after they had delivered it to me. So I can attest to their excellent return policies and will be ordering many more pieces from them in the future.

That being said, I believe (as someone else mentioned) that Crate and Barrell has their own Parson tables. Also, West Elm Parson desk tables are fantastic as well. There are a lot of options around DC too--as I remember when I lived there--where you shouldn't have to order from R&B to find what you need.

Readingglasses--you come off as very pretentious in your posts. You should pronounce it based on whichever language you're speaking. People will think you're full of yourself if you still choose to pronounce it differently than the norm of the culture you're communicating with. Reminds me of students who study abroad and then return to America thinking they are natives of the countries they studied in, thumbing their noses at their old American friends and believing they are more sophisticated than everyone else.
