Not being one to suggest chemical pesticides I've had good luck with borax pest killers. They've gotten rid of my ant problem.

I hope the law can be enforced, I know ignorance is no excuse, but hopefully with San Francisco being so forward thinking they will have some great educational material for their citizens to learn about what to do, and how to do it. Hopefully this can become a model that all cities will follow

isn't this a good thing? this will force organic farmers to lower their prices, bringing them closer to the non-organic milk prices. then why not buy organic if it costs the same amount?

While I personally haven't used Onkyo's models of receivers the middle of the road (around $1k) Denon receivers do offer a great bang for the buck. In addition the newer models include the Audyssey MultEQ audio setup which makes setup fast, and surprisingly accurate. Many of the models have upgradeable firmware so when updates are availiable for the audyssey software or audio decoding you can download the update. I have used 2 different Denon models and their price / performance is excellent.

There is always going to be a need for high capacity storage in a convenient form factor (Blu Ray) It really is a format that is going to be here to stay, for at least the next 5 years. Initially DVD's were cost prohibitive, and left to only the most extreme audio and video junkies. But now everyone has them, and VHS is no more. The same thing is going to happen with blu ray, economies of scale, and competition will drive prices down. Also, until internet speeds greatly increase there will not be a streaming substitute for Blu-ray. Sure you can stream high def content. But its using lossy compression, and I doubt you can also stream 7.1 channels of uncompressed audio at the same time :-)

I would suggest using a micro fiber cloth (like for glasses) and a lens cleaning solution that is formulated to not mess up the delicate coatings on optics (like on your TV) I got a bottle from sun glass hut, and they give you unlimited free refills!

I used to wash with hot water, and use alot of detergent. now I use cold water, and use a small amount of seventh generation detergent, and... I cant even tell the difference

What can I do to get the janitorial service to actually recycle our recyclables? In my office we have trash bins labeled "Recycling" I have been working here for a little over a year and today I found out that the "recycling" has just been getting thrown in our dumpster out back! right next to the recycling bins! This makes me so MAD!!!!

The thing I love about this place is the brick, thats about it, it reminds me of Lulu Carpenters in Santa Cruz, a very cozy coffee shop there

I really like the look of the plywood in the bedroom, that is great!
