I also love these type of posts! The budget for the second room doesn't seem out of line to me, and if I wanted that look but couldn't afford it all at once then at least I could prioritize my purchases to what I had the money (and willingness to spend it) for.

AT please do more of these! And include new traditional rooms, romantic rooms, feminine rooms please!!!

I love that there is so many beautiful and detailed things in this home, paired along nicely with kitschy accents, and it does not feel cluttered to me. That is a great job!

And I will agree that when I rented, I saw my deposit as the cost of doing business. I painted, changed lighting, doorknobs switch plates and other small things that would make the home more of a reflection of myself. I considered every place I lived in that I didn't own a sort of "practice house". I often did get most of my deposit back because the landlord saw that the changes were improvements, and by the time I was able to purchase a home I already had a keen sense for what I liked and didn't like.

Anyways, this is a lovely home!
