I guess one cubic foot of storage is good for current favorites you don't want more than a foot from the record player.

An not-sweet icebox cake with digestive biscuits and honey yogurt covered in berries is a beautiful thing. My friend's two little girls still speak of the morning they had cake for breakfast in hushed, reverent tones.

Different brands behave differently - Spectrum coconut oil becomes a smooth paste when you stir it and it much easier to use for baking than the other kinds I've used. It also tastes less like coconut oil than, say, the Trader Joes private label kind.

I am always bemoaning the $450 1000sf 1910 apartment we had in Spokane WA with 15 foot ceilings, rock maple plank floors, and a huge tiled fireplace. My rad gay uncle still lives in the building because his 1500sf 2 bedroom with the best view in town is about 850 bucks after all these years. I miss seeing him and his skittish abyssinians every day, too!

I only saw the calder-y stabile maquette and completely disregarded the dog. I guess I have terrible priorities. Envious of both.

That said, my coffee table is by Miss Flo and I love that thing (bronze base bank commission version of the classic square one). My friend's toddlers pull up to it and it's like a really elegant dining/art table for them.

Trying to find a leather cover under 400 is murder - has anyone ever had luck having one made by an upholsterer? I have been patiently estate sale-ing for 10 years and finally found the largest size of the oldest steel rod type, but they only look good to me with leather covers.
I did not know one of the first three imported from Brazil was for Fallingwater - pretty cool.

@yoyos: it would be my eating a cannabis caramel, zoning out, giggling while listening to the Star Wars disco album, rolling around, and then napping room. The snuffalupagus mattress is a nice touch.
