I love the bedside table that you made for your daughter's room. It caught my eye immediately. Such a simple--yet unique--idea. Sarah & Brian's Salvaged Stories House Tour |

Megan here---I updated my blog (http://www.urbantastes.com/2012/11/20/bathroom-re-do/) with a couple more 'before' photos and there are also a bunch more afters there as well. It's a very small space so it's very tricky to capture everything at once. Budget was around 10K, maybe a bit more after we had to have some unexpected plumbing work done---basically replacing the main pipe up to the bathroom. I don't remember it being that expensive to move the tub since there was plumbing there already and it's such a small space but it definitely did not change costs dramatically. Definitely worth it though. The bathroom feels much more spacious now. Before & After: Megan's Renovated & Rearranged Bathroom |

Those look amazing and I love the yellow with the wood. I've been wanting to have something powder coated for a while and was wondering about costs. Before & After: Metal Lyon Stools Get a Fresh Powder Coat |

Oops, meant to say that SOME people don't like painted furniture (especially when it comes to mid-century items). Where Can I Find This Console or Similar? Good Questions |

I was wildly surprised to find the sideboard I bought off craigslist last week pictured in this post! I bought it for personal use b/c it was so awesome and unique. But when I picked it up it was MUCH bigger than I expected and wouldn't fit the space. Conveniently enough, I have an online shop where I sell furniture and other vintage stuff, so I painted it (the veneer was more messed up than you can tell from this picture) and is now for sale here: www.urbantastes.com. I get that people aren't fans of painted furniture but it was kind of essential for this piece given the veneer issues. Where Can I Find This Console or Similar? Good Questions |
