OH, this would be great for my son's nursery! I also love the Capri Lamp #1 for a soft look in our bedroom. What a great giveaway! My husband's grandmother always ALWAYS has made his birthday cakes. They STILL talk about the "computer" cake (complete with keyboard! vintage Apple IIC!) that she made when he was 8 or 9. I've seen pictures. It was pretty cool. But one year I decided to make a fun cake for his birthday and I made a "Homestar Jr." cheeseburger cake (it will only make sense if you've watched a particular short from Homestarrunner.com) and it turned out quite well, if I do say so myself. Now, she's a great-grandmother and made my son's first birthday ABC block cake. But maybe next year I'll get a chance to try a cake creation of my own. I like the look of folded towels on a shelf. Our apartment has a narrow linen closet, and I like to see the neat stacks when I open the door. I fold in half, then half again, then thirds, with the folded over part on the outside. It's about the only area in our apt that consistently looks organized. Oh, I'd love this! I was ashamed to show his baby book at his first b-day party yesterday because all the interesting things hadn't been filled in yet... My tiny tale would be from last night! When giving our son a bath, we moticed a funny smell. Sure enough, he'd pooped in the tub (probably 'cause he was all relaxed.) We proceeded to take him out of the baby tub so we could dump out the poo...and there was more! He pooped all over his legs and it was half solid/ half runny. Ewwww. Thank goodness my husband was holding him over the real tub. It was a LOT of poo. And it smelled horrible...possibly as a result of the prunes he'd eaten earlier. Either way, at that point we had to move bathtime into the OTHER bathroom, just to escape the smell while cleaning up our little stinker!
