I agree with the others-- good concept, nice bones, but the deco scheme is too much. Even if you like the 70s scheme, you probably won't still like it when the kid grows up so the whole point of it growing with your child and staying relevant for years is moot.

complainypants-- take a look at amazon.com. There are a few products out there made to strap your carseat to a rolling carry-on suitcase; either to use as a makeshift stroller or just to help transport it. I used the tote-a-tot with my 26 lb. 10 MO, and it worked great. Most of the time I carried him in the ergo, but we did leave him in the carseat once and it was just fine.

I agree with previous posters, and it also looks scarily claustrophobia inducing. I just think that the changing table bit makes it too dark and enclosed.
I hope they made the bed height adjustable too-- I can't imagine having to reach over that thing to pick up or lay down a tiny newborn.

I can't decide if I love these or not. Maybe with a slightly older child than mine (almost 3)? I think maybe giving permission to draw on the windows with just these particular markers could be too easily confused with permission to draw all over the house with any implement within reach. For now, we're sticking to just paper.

Plastic carpet = static in my mind. I think the kids would be skating around shocking each other, which is only fun for a minute, then everyone gets mad.

I wholeheartedly agree with the long sleeved onesies, and tights for little girls-- they can turn almost anything seasonally appropriate.
One caution against using diaper boxes or other cardboard- many of my daughter's baby clothes yellowed significantly where they touched the cardboard, perhaps from the acid in the paper. Maybe wrapping things in acid-free tissue first would have prevented this.

I'm with Enamorada about the loops issue--- also the sticks look loose. Probably OK til the baby starts pushing up on hands and knees.

You could take the measurements of your table top to a local glass shop and have a piece of glass cut to fit the top. This will protect it and make minimal impact on the design.
