Tasteful.

The whole window area is just gorgeous...the wood frame, the plants, the radiators (I wish my radiators were that cute!), and the sunlight. You just need a bigger TV ;) Like, 4X as big.

I want to go to there too! Very classy. The living room (and kitty) is my favorite. Is that a manatee?

Terrible. The one with the woman bent over the toilet is especially horrifying.

Charming! I like the window over the kitchen sink, which is uncommon in NYC. And what a handsome orange stripey cat. I am curious to see the nifty litter box solution you described.

The "It's a Wonderful Life" poster is marvelous! Jimmy Stewart's expression in that shot just warms my heart.

I love the addition of quinoa for extra protein. I make a taco salad for two also that is similar to this, but I crumble "Pico de Gallo" tortilla chips instead of plain. I think the brand is called Garden of Eatin'. They are so delicious, like healthy Doritos, and add so much flavor to the salad.

Items we really "need" is a judgment call. Do we really "need" a sofa and more than 2 lamps, etc.? I need a colorful rug on the floor, pillows, and art on the walls because it sparks the imagination and makes a place feel like home. And by "need" I mean "want."

We've had ours for about 5 years and it's holding up beautifully. We chose the "Alcantara" microsuede upholstery. It's used in Formula One race cars. It's indestructible and cleans up very well with a damp cloth. No regrets on purchasing the Togo, but to be perfectly honest, it doesn't provide very good back support. But it's a work of art and I love looking at it every day.

Park Slope in da house! But seriously, the wall tile in the kitchen is fabulous.
