I gave up trying to get my boyfriend to eat vegetables when I leave town. He usually grabs a frozen pizza, some ground beef for burgers (with white buns *cringe*), and probably goes out for bar food a couple times too. Maybe there are vegetables in the bar food? Probably not... At least he takes leftovers out of freezer for lunch, so at least that's good for him!

Everyone was telling me Feedly, but I don't see it. I hated it. Feedly is NOT like Google Reader, in any way. I'm on NetVibes now and functions almost exactly like Google Reader.

I make 5-6 new recipes every week... I try to plan recipes about what meat I have the freezer, what veggies I won't use all of from another recipe, try not to have the same kind of thing more than once (soup, mexican, chinese), and at least one vegetarian. It needs to be healthy and make enough so there are leftovers for lunch the next day, but not too many leftovers that I have to freeze some. If there are too many leftovers, then I plan a leftover night.

I used to always get one of the Safeway Signature Soups. But now that I'm not near a Safeway, I always go get soup from the Whole Foods soup bar. Also, lots and lots of tea and hot cocoa.

I had never heard of the Moosewood Restaurant until I went on a work trip to Ithaca and a coworker suggested we go there for dinner. It was very good!

Good idea - I just went and unsubscribed from a ton of newsletters and sale flyers that I never read. That five minutes saves me the five minutes I waste everyday deleting them. Thanks for the reminder!
I've been thinking it's about time again to clean out my closet. It's been about 6 months (but that was LONG OVERDUE) so I'm sure I missed some things.
I backed everything up a few months ago and organized my photos and deleted old stuff I didn't need anymore.

I REALLY want to break up some of my boards. My recipe one is the largest and should be split into dinner, appetizers, desserts, drinks (at the very least). I have some entertaining pins on there too that should be their own board.
Then I have my clothes, shoes, and accessories and my hair, makeup, and nails which should be about 6 separate boards. BUT I just don't have the time to go back and organize each pin one-by-one. If there were a bulk edit option, but until then, they're staying the way they are.

I've used eggs about a month past their date and will drink milk for about 4 days after it's date. And I usually don't pay too much attention to the dates on condiments... I pay pretty close attention to the dates on meats and that kind of stuff - if it's not going to get used before that date (or I notice that the date is today) then it goes in the freezer.

Brewing beer and cheese making are on my list too. I've made goat cheese in past, but want to dabble in other cheese varieties this year. I also want to make some savory jams (caramelized onion, bacon, roasted tomato, etc.) and make my own pasta. And finally, I have a ton of recipe ideas in my head, but have never taken the time to write them down or completely think them through (all ingredients, preparation, etc.) so I'm going to spend some time doing that this year too.

I have a 45 minute commute and get home about at about 5:15. My boyfriend gets home at about 6:45, so I typically have plenty of time to fit in a work out and have dinner ready by around 7:00. Now, this all goes out the door when I have to stay late at work, I pick my boyfriend up from work, or I failed to read the recipe (slowcooker?! Marinate for 4 hours?! Missing an ingredient?!)
