I order deli containers in pint and quart sizes from

http://www.cateringsupplies.com/modules/cart/products.php/nav_id/12/page/1/id/91/name/TAKEOUTDeliContainers

Super cheap. And I label them with dry erase markers (the writing wipes off easily with a dry paper towel) so I can reuse the containers for as long as they last.

What a wonderful, exhaustive list! You've got quite literally all but one of my favorites on there. I cannot recommend SOS Chefs enough. It is a store that sells mostly to restaurants, but the retail shop is on Ave B just below 7th. Atef, the owner, is a terribly stylish Morroccan woman who scours the globe for wonderful spices, vinegars, oils, honeys, platters...the list goes on! I could spend all day browsing in there...

I use it to make tisanes before bed. I just steep a handful in hot water for a few minutes, add a touch of honey and voila! I also add it to tons of savory dishes...mushed up with fava beans and olive oil spread on toast, with grilled eggplant, in lamb burgers...wherever I can squeeze it in!

Be sure to check out the area in the back on the fifth floor....done up like a hunter's lodge! I almost missed it and it was my favorite part of the place (partially because it was the quietest part of the place). Also be warned it's a bit difficult to find...down a street, down an alley, that kind of thing. Bring a detailed map!

Container Store! These glass canisters are fabulous. I too have succumbed to the bread craze and have found that these work wonderfully for large quantities of flour.

Gingercookie - I think you are bounded only by your imagination. I bet jam would be nice...apricot especially, or some tart berry like boysenberry. Now you've got me all excited to give them a try!

JB Prince sells the copper molds...but so expensive! I will need to start with one and build up my collection over time I think. I've been eyeing that recipe in Paula Wolfert's book for years...ever since I had my first cannele at Laduree...

Occasionally I'll deep fry a pork chop...I tend to eat something cereal-esque or something with so much fat I couldn't possibly allow anyone else to see me eat it! Or sometimes it's just pasta...usually with sausage and arugula and wine.

I've gotten into ramps this year for some reason...I didn't add peas to mine but added mint instead and topped the whole mess with a poached egg. Loving life!

Oh my lord I covet that teapot! I know it's overpriced and I'm probably not being very imaginative by suggesting it, but Mariage de Freres does have some very beautiful teas...as does the Ito En (loose teas). I'm pretty cheap though so my daily tea is loose PG Tips.
