HAHAHAHA, genius! My husband needs this; his dinner stains are a running joke. I wonder if he would USE them, in the privacy of home, if I maybe used NFL logo fabric or something...

THANK YOU!!

I have wondered what was killing my squash -- was I overwatering, underwatering, too much sun, not enough sun??
But I definately noticed those 'stinkbugs' and thought they were harmless.
My two squash plants are too far gone now, but now I am no longer afraid to try again next year.

Yes! There are great fabrics to pick from on Spoonflower, so I made a tea towel calendar. I have fabric for 2012 already, just haven't sewn it up yet.

I did a double take at the last thumbnail, as I have the same bed (ikea, right?) and the same light colored condo carpet and the same electric green walls in my master bedroom...

I love the Frommer's Day-by-Day series, if they are available for the city I need. They are small and portable and have great maps.

I just bought a set of the retro Lowe's chairs in butter yellow and I am in love with them. I searched for a full year for something affordable and cute before I found them. They have a nice bounce once put together. (The chairs; don't know about the glider.)

i am also addicted to craigslist. i have lost a $6 arc lamp ($6!?) recently. i lose out on items all the time. but two weeks ago i was able to purchase a large set of franciscan starburst dishes for $50. the set includes 12 of the super rare snack plates, along with many other plates/bowls/cups/servingware. i have seen ONE plate sell on ebay for almost $50. i kept expecting the seller to change her mind. even while i was picking it up, i expected her to say, "no, i meant $50 PER SETTING."

I work from home and my small home office is quite tangerine, white and wood accents. I love it. And my bedroom across the hall is a granny smith apple color with white accents. I spend so much time at home that white walls would drive me crazy.

Wow, my rosemary stays alive all through the winter, even with frosts. It's the only plant I can't kill. I don't have a secret, but I have noticed it's in the spot of my patio garden that gets the hottest in the spring/summer.

I also love AT. Isn't this the site that posts Scavengers daily? I can love design, love AT, check for updates ten times a day, recommend it to friends, and still hate big business and the commercialism that comes with the holiday season all at the same time. I didn't think I expressed anger or condescension that people might like to go shopping this Friday. I was just pointing out another tradition -- in its 17th year -- that coincides with Black Friday. Much love back, and there is no sarcasm intended.

We had a similar huge assembly building to work with. White christmas lights and trees. Either arrange to borrow a bunch of not yet planted trees from a landscaper, or buy some cheap ikea-ish ones. The impact was amazing.

The Hotel Monte Vista in Flagstaff claims to be haunted. I stayed there and saw no ghosts...but it was a really cool old school boutique hotel anyway.
