I had a similar experience with them. An item I ordered in February that they charged me for in February STILL hasn't shipped! It's MAY! I've been trying to reach them through as many ways I can - customer service email, regular email, facebook, twitter, paypal dispute...no response. At first I got a message saying they'd ship my item soon but since then, nothing. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Since I paid with PayPal I can't even get my money back! Horrible horrible company. The BBB is right!

It looks like terrible design. I think it would be rather cold too...a shower curtain or shower doors would make a lot more sense.

There are cool versions of both, although, personally I hate shower doors in my house for the following reasons:

1. Shower doors make taking a bath rather claustrophobic
2. I hate cleaning shower doors
3. I have hard water, which means tons of impossible to remove mineral deposits everywhere (see #2)
4. I hate having to squeegee the shower doors after showering (see #3...this practice cuts down on water spots)
5. Shower doors are always falling off the track (or mine are anyway)
6. Shower doors can look really dated, really fast

So, there's my rant on shower doors. Curtains all the way!

Ew. They are both cold and stiff. They make me uneasy.

I guess this isn't technically a vertical garden, but I think it's pretty cool!

Last year I was in Scottsdale and drove by this newly built condo complex. I took tons of pictures of it because I loved all of the plants growing at all the different levels on the outside of the building.

Here's the link if you want to check it out.

My husband and I rent a near brand new apartment. It's a nice place, but for whatever reason the builder built the downstairs apartments with washers and dryers and the upstairs apartments without. We started out in a downstairs apartment and the upstairs neighbors were so loud we moved to an upstairs apartment and lost the laundry. So, we have to carry the laundry to the laundry facilities and get $50 in quarters each month to do laundry which is an inconvenience. These are the things I'd change:

1. Laundry in all apartments, if that isn't possible than let me pay for communal laundry machines with a credit card so I don't have to go to the bank and get $50 in quarters each month. (It's $2 to wash and $2 to dry...which seems expensive to me...but whatever)
2. Better insulation between top and bottom floors so the downstairs apartments don't hear the upstairs neighbors every footstep.
3. More storage. We have tiny little closets and all are full/overflowing.
4. A place to grow a garden - I'd love to grow my own veggies and I don't think my balcony gets enough sun to really grow much.
5. More notice or a time frame when the maintenance person was coming to fix things because I too am afraid they will let my indoor only cat out and I'll never see her again - there are coyotes in the riverbed behind our complex! (If we know in advance, we put her in the bedroom with the door closed.)
6. A non-smoking complex. I like keeping the windows open in the evenings but the neighbors smoke and it stinks. I also have a fear they will catch a mattress on fire and burn down our building and our cat will perish in the fire. :(

Overall, I'm pretty happy with my place. The things I'd change would just make my life easier and make me feel less like a renter.

I have lived in a lot of other much older places, however. One of the things I really wanted in my old place was a new bathtub. The finish on that tub was coming up and water was getting between the finish and the metal (I think it was metal?) and it was bouncy. We called it the "moon bounce bathtub". My landlord swore it was not an issue, but it looked terrible, was impossible to clean, and I always felt there was a chance I'd fall through the floor.

This needs two things to be perfect: a lower price tag and wheels. Actually - even if it just had wheels I'd consider it.

The worst part about not having laundry in my apartment is lugging around the laundry basket - I'm tempted to just set it on a skateboard and push it to the laundry room.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about this place. I want to move in. So much charm and character. I really enjoy how they worked with what they had.

This is another average apartment. I do like the dresser in the entryway and the pillows, and it is cool that nothing was over $200, but this apartment is lacking something to tie it all together.

I love the fireplace and the candles in it. Very chic. The sketches and pillows in the living room chairs are nice too.

The rest is a bit average...The bathroom photo leaves something to be desired and the kitchen - I see why it is the biggest embarrassment...there just isn't anything inviting about the kitchen. Maybe it could be dressed up by painting the cabinets or adding some fun accessories - like anything from Orla Kiely's Target line (LOVE that line!). Can you paint the kitchen door? The yellow color makes it look a little dingy - what about a muted green similar to the fireplace? I would also loose the plastic bags hanging in the kitchen. Maybe you could add some planted trailing plants on top of the cupboards - in fun colored pots? I'd put away all the clean dishes right away and get rid of the drying rack on the counter to make more space. You could add fun kitchen towels too (Orla Kiely - Target!!!) What about adding an interesting rug over the kitchen floor?

I personally can't stand mirrored tables or any table with a glass top for that matter, because I hate the sound of clinking glasses when you sent them down on it. I also hate cleaning them and I'm paranoid about them breaking. BUT, this is just my opinion, plenty of other people like them. The glass tables sort of work here, they just aren't something I would pick out for my home.

Overall, I like the decorative accents, but most everything else is pretty average.
