Great (Not Over the Door) Shoe Storage Options?

I have a whippet, in the city, and she gets a bit stir-crazy if she doesn't get a good run in every other day (we try to go every day) And I don't mean a jog with us, I mean flat-out ripping around a dog park at 35mph. Two-hour long walks don't tire her out- she needs to run at full speed. Our running/jogging speed is her brisk walking- think about it. So I would just make sure there's at least one good fenced dog park around. Other than that they are great city dogs!

I attended a wedding here (first time in the garden, even though I live here!) and it was beautiful.

They are, but as a few said, unless you read decor blogs and know what is "trendy" 90% of people won't know/care. I would feel weird personally if the places on the scroll didn't have some meaning to me, but I feel that way about most art.

Trumystique- I've seen those kind of lamps a lot lately from places like Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware and CB2, etc. but if you're like me and don't fancy "new vintage-looking" you can also find interesting vintage and antique industrial lamps on ebay.

My advice for knock-offs is to always see it in person. I've seen some baaaaad knock-offs, and some good ones too. Good lighting and photoshop can really save a tragic looking knock off. The fabric, to me, is one of the key factors. That is something you can't always see in a small picture. It might be a cheap-feeling, loose weave fabric that will pill and sag easily. You can only determine the quality of the fabric in person, and to me that is too much of a risk ordering online unless they have an excellent return policy.

I am tempted to agree with bakingstone, and like stainedglasslove I was also an art student and looking at the nude human body doesn't bother me. I think it's kind of strange to be offended by the human body.

ammaring (or anyone else)- In your experience have stores been equally flexible (in price) for latex/memory foam mattresses? (We're looking at a Tempurpedic) I would venture to say the markup is the same, but I can imagine them saying the cost of materials is more. Any advice? (I want to be prepared)

Maybe post an ad in your local craigslist asking if somebody is removing a large stump that you could have? Or perhaps contact a stump removal service to see if you could arrange to get one? (then you could just saw it to make it flat)

I like minimalism when it is used in an older space with a lot of original moulding or architectural elements, like the second picture. The juxtaposition of new/streamlined furnishings within an old/ornamented space appeals to me.

I just save them to a folder on my desktop, but after a while it got so big, so I recommend having sub folders for different rooms, or different ideas (I have a black & white folder) Then once you decided to renovate the kitchen for example, you can open your kitchen folder and everything relevant will be inside.

I like digital issues because usually if I buy a magazine I flip through it once and then forget about it. If it's a really great issue I maybe flip through it 3 times then forget about it. With digital issues (haven't bought a subscription before, just Lonny and a few trials) I can easily save pictures to my inspiration folders which I use regularly, instead of scanning magazines which I NEVER bother to do. The only print mags I won't give up is National Geographic, Paris Vogue and special fashion magazines that are more like collectibles or books (A magazine, encens, etc)

I agree with the above, plus I'm pretty sure most people find me annoying to shop with. I do laps around the store, touching everything, pick things up, put them down, all the while thinking thinking thinking.... and then I might not leave with anything. I prefer solo missions where there's no pressure.
