I love this. I have just the right amount of room between my sons crib and the wall to do this.

Beautiful room. I think this is pink done right. It is a fun pink and it is mixed in beautifully with the other colors.

I just bought two of those rubbery bins from Target in turquoise to go in my son's room...got tired of toys being scattered everywhere all the time. He is 7 months.

I own Craft, Inc. and like it, although I've never actually jumped in and started a crafting business or any business for that matter. I thought I might want to work from home while being a stay-at-home mom, but now that baby is here I realize how silly that thought was. It is hard enough completing one online college course each semester with baby. Even if he is napping or occupying himself, he is still my top priority and my brain cannot seem to focus enough on any other task. I guess I'll get better at this as time goes on (my little one is now 6 months old and things are easier than they were at one or two months). No one prepared me for the "mommy brain" thing either. You know, you go into another room and then forget why you went in there. I cannot go to the grocery store without a list anymore either or I will even forget the one thing I really was going after anyway. And when I leave the store and get into the parking lot, trying to remember where I parked is a challenge. This is all very weird to me, the one who normally has these things together and reminds everyone else of things. Kudos to those moms out there who have it together and applause to those moms who can actually run businesses out of there homes with kids underfoot.

Pretty cool that she has been able to duplicate the taste of Doritos more healthfully, because I was once told that Doritos contained several different forms of MSG to prevent snackers from eating just one or even a few at one time. However, I'm with MIMEE25...I don't think I'd want my pasta to taste like Doritos either. Might be cool to top homemade tortilla chips with this and have your own Doritos, though.

Thanks for this. My husband is half Korean on his mother's side. I am interested in learning more about Korean food especially since we recently had a baby. I want him to learn about his Korean heritage and grow up eating some Korean food.

I have only started to really like Korean food and Japanese food in the last few years. Lately I have been enjoying a simple snack of boiled tofu (just to warm it up a bit) topped with a little sesame oil and sesame seeds with a side of kimchee. Simple but delicious. This sauce would work well if I didn't have kimchee.

I definitely use the internet more than cookbooks these days. I love my cookbooks, but I rarely follow a recipe exactly, and when I have an idea for something specific or I need to find recipes that work with the ingredients I have on hand, it is just easier to go online.

I love Skip Hop stuff. We already have the whale spout cover, turquoise toy organizer and the stacking duck cups as well as a Skip Hop diaper bag and some other goodies.

Now if my last two weeks would hurry up so I can finally meet my sweet baby and start using this stuff!

Those are so cute. As our future son is going to be part Korean, the Korean blocks would be awesome to have.

I loooove soda. My husband and I started keeping diet sodas made with Splenda (Publix brand) around the house instead of regular products like Coke. I was drinking Coke Zero instead of regular to help my waistline but quit drinking that after becoming pregnant because of the caffeine and questionable sweeteners. I just try to limit my intake now and try to drink from a straw when possible (the same as when I drink sports drinks like Gatorade...read they ruin tooth enamel as well).

I definitely lose inches from my waistline when I'm not drinking much soda, and I seem to have less cellulite as well (don't know if there has even been a study relating the two). But I could never completely give it up...too good.

We have exposed beams in our living room, but a previous homeowner painted them white. I so wish they were natural again, but I'm not gonna get up there and do it :(

Oh wow, I just noticed you are in Tuscaloosa. I live in Madison, AL. I lived in Tuscaloosa for about 4 years while in college. I really like the color combo of turquoise and orange, but that is just too close to orange and blue for my husband...we are definitely a crimson and white household :)

Cute nursery. I love turquoise! If I wasn't already set on leaving the walls taupe in my unborn son's soon-to-be nursery, I would have them painted turquoise. I also really love that black and white chevron rug. I'm having multi-colored chevron curtains made for the nursery. I love the sense of movement the chevron pattern brings to a room. I plan on putting some empty frames on the wall too to fill later...I'm sure my husband is going to have the same reaction as yours.

Kitchen renovations can be very expensive, like tens of thousands of dollars expensive. This DIY kitchen makeover really made a big difference. I'm impressed. It looks great. Amazing what some paint can do.

Cool, I'll check it out. As an Alabama girl I need to increase my southern cookery skills. I have found that I can make a mean Chinese cashew chicken, but I can't make good fried chicken :)
