You think they were CFL's?

I used to live alone and now have a roommate. When I lived alone my ritual was pretty similar to what it is now with a few exceptions- mainly choice of rooms for ritual activities.
Of course the very first thing I do is hang my bag and keys on their hooks when I walk into my room. It is in said room that early phase of activity begins. I then shed the day's clothes and crawl into loungey clothes.
I check my facebook since I can't do that at work. I like to do this with my macbook while sitting up in my most comfortable bed.
After scrolling through all my friends recent status updates, pics, etc, then it's time to check the snail mail. This is where things shift. I grab the macbook and my phone and head to the living room. I flip the TV on (usually to HGTV, food channel, or Bravo) walk outside, grab the mail, come back inside and start to sort. On a good day, there's a magazine waiting for me, so I grab a cold glass or water, sit on the couch, flip through the magazine and catch up on tv and just let the day melt away. That's the ritual, the rest of the night lends itself to dinner, boyfriend, friend, roommate, or on all too rare an occassion, a hot bath, painting my nails and Bravo!

The brown couch above looks exactly like my couch...but mine isn't from Costco. But it looks SO much like it, that they could have a deal with the manufacturer that made mine.
I've had it for about 4 years.. and it still holds up..and looks good. It's a couch I look forward to graduating from as my tastes have evolved, but it has served me well over the years, and guests have said it has been comfortable to sleep on!

That is a beautiful bed! After seeing your post I checked out all of Taregt's upholstered beds- I'm so impressed! There was only 1 review I saw and it sounds like it was from a very happy customer. Luckily, Target has a great return policy, so you can always take it back if you aren't happy! Buy the bed- I'm excited for your bedroom to feature such a pretty piece!

Why not just call the color "Anderson Cooper" by Benjamin Moore?!?!

Target has (or I've heard it's now sadly a HAD) the best organic bamboo sheets. I have them in 2 colors and love them. They are soft, eco friendly, affordable, and breathe nicely. Oh, Target- I love thee!

This is one of my favorite floral shops in LA! I'm so happy to see it on AT! YAY! Such a helpful staff provide wonderful service and creative, beautiful arrangements. I highly recommend using them the next time you're able to send someone flowers... I also hope you have a flexible budget because they are also a bit on the spendy side, but I can tell you- OH the smiles would be worth it!
