(Full disclosure: Never been a fan of Starbucks; always go back to Bustelo no matter how delicious any other coffee I try might be.)

I've tried kefir. It wasn't fizzy at all and definitely more of a (too) thick smoothie. Not opposed to it, but not a big fan.

Both of these recipes look really good. My version adds some brandy to the mix. Gives it an extra bit of naughty kick. Hey, if you're gonna go all out with the full fat ingredients, why not indulge with the booze, too?

I first saw this video a couple of weeks ago on either Consumerist or Mediaite (can't remember). My friends in the UK couldn't have cared less for it. I loved it, though.

They're all nice, but the first one reminds me too much of the logo for El Corte Ingles. Talk about all-over branding. Ooph...

Not much of a gin drinker, but my go-to when i do is Beefeater. And that might have more to do with the commercials I grew up watching in Puerto Rico in the 80s than anything else. But I do like the flavor.

Quite interesting seeing as how the West Elm in downtown DC closed a few months ago only to make way for a Forever 21.

How about keepin' it real and just "cut the air on/off?" I actually can't stand that terminology, but people around DC use it a fair amount.

You almost had it, larchgirl! It's "guayaba." Deelishuss as a paste! Just as good fresh off the tree (we picked a lot of guava near my aunt's house growing up in Puerto Rico).

And I've had the individually-wrapped slices before. But better still is having my momma slice wedges from the big tin wheel it normally comes in and eating it with Export Soda (Rovira not Keebler) crackers! Oh, good times.
