Please do not cut the legs on the desk! Unless you want your desk to look squat and odd. Mount the tv on the wall and reposition the shelves asymmetrically. Having the tv sit above 29" is not a problem as long as you don't find it problematic. Nice Desk BTW.

New layout is a big improvement. I would add a taller tree or sculptural art in the far left hand corner and call it a day! BTW love the red Hoffman chairs.

Replace the cushions only if you feel they need to be. It will not effect the value of the piece. As for upholstery, ultra suede is durable.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove water stains on fabric? I have a 70's print made of cloth with a nasty water stain on it. I hear you can spray a water and vinegar solution on the fabric. Let it dry and it should come out but I am unsure of the ratio?

The sideboard you are inquiring about was made by Borge Mogensen. He was a 20th century Danish designer. The side board is available on 1stdibs.
or you can contact this auction house www.regalauctionservices.com
on occasion they have Mogensen pieces or similar at a quarter of the price.
They are also auctioning a rare Finn Juhl settee. Only five were made.
Good luck.

Goodies can be had on "online flea markets" or actual flea markets/thrift shops. I recently found an original Frank Gehry wiggle stool for $20 at a local thrift shop.
