it's definitely not a George Mulhauser design. Just a knock off. For the price of reupholstery, you could probably by a real Mr. Chair. If you want to do a DIY repair, I recommend a bike tube repair kit for the smaller tears. the work wonders, though are not the most attractive. Repair Source for Damaged Vinyl Chair? I sold one of these a few months back (here:http://sitandreadfurniture.blogspot.com/2009/02/leather-mid-century-lounge-chair.html) . I never could identify it. I sell Mid Century furniture on my site, www.sitandreadfurniture.blogspot.com, and business has been great. I keep my prices low to begin with because my overhead is low, so I suspect that people are seeking out my stuff because it is more affordable.
