Rebecca, I used a long lighter to light the candles inside. If the opening of your glass was larger you could also use a larger candle... It stayed bright all evening long:)

What great projects! I recently used the crates to make a fall party table and they worked perfectly! For mine, I simply went to Crate and Barrel and asked the guys in the back if I could take some- they gave me as many as I could load:)

I just adore this party. I have a huge stack of neck ties waiting to be used on a project- what a fun idea to give them out to the boys!

We had two of these bought online from Target, although they seemed like a great idea not having a high chair tray was a VERY big issue for us. They would be great from about 2 on but at the one year old stage kids really need that tray close to their bodies to not have EVERY outfit ruined! We ended up finding two Eddie Bower wood chairs with trays at garage sales and I stained them a dark color to match.
