I like the color on the inside of the changeing table area best. Although I bet its all the same shade?? I would get some funky cool contact paper and cover the door. Also get some wood filler to fill in the gaps then this would be picture perfect. If your like me and did not want to put a ton of work into something your only going to use for a yr or till they are potty trained this is great updo to a peice of fruniture i would have walked right past. I too feel it needs something but just cant place my finger on it? Gloss or a more vivid color. The color comes across as chalky??? But the shade on the inside changing portion seems on!?! I would want to sprinkle powder all over it.Then vaccume perhaps carpet powder? Baby powder? I assume the sour smell is body oil? Like from oils in the hair??? I agree with letting it get some sun but not for a day or two. A few hrs. I left some black shirts out to dry and they are now that weird black red color. The sun bleaches out the smell but also the color. Love the chair btw. Best thing you can do is call a reupholstery store and ask if they have anything. Often they have the best answers . I LOVE these. I have a super girly girl and I know she would prefer these over the reg colors. Its also ok to be girly girl. Pink is not a bad word or shameful if you choose to like pink or are drawn to it. I personaly am not a fan of the overly girly girl but my little girl really lights up at the frills and lady like decor/ toys AND ITS OK. LEGO Friends: Yay or Nay? |

they truly only use it for such a short period of time i hardly think its a matter of placing style into the house! kids like the bold ugly colors too! for real a few months before they are able to use it for only a few months then its out the door.
