Charise, Mille. Cara and Sean P: Thanks so much for the advice! It turns out that it is a bottle of tawny, so now I'm excited (my mother-in-law gave it to me saying, "This may be vinegar. Open it and you'll immediately know," which made me less than eager to do so). Now opening the bottle may merit a party! Does Liquor Ever Expire? I have a bottle of port from the early sixties. I'm a bit scared to open it (or not). Is there any chance it could be drinkable? Does Liquor Ever Expire? Straight Up Cocktails and Spirits | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

Sarah and Steve's apartment liquor-bottle placement just inspired the solution for a problem we've been dealing with in my house--what to do with an old china cabinet. Now we're definitely turning it into a bar storage area! Thanks for re-posting these. I missed them all the first time. The Homes of Apartment Therapy Bloggers! | Apartment Therapy Los Angeles |

I wonder if that's the same cookbook we used to giggle over when I used to work at a used bookstore. It just had this hilarious line, when arguing why everyone should adopt a macrobiotic diet that went something like: Recipe: Hearty Healthy Apple Muffins | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

I start every morning with an orange. I've never liked orange juice much at all. Oranges are getting pretty expensive now, but I still see them as a necessary splurge.
