Has anyone had experience sourcing those Wegner chairs? Knockoffs are on the web but quality?

Four legs to three and ten coats of white spray paint on top made it an entirely different table, with total time commitment of about 30 minutes.

This isn't "modern" -- it might be called "contemporary" but "modern" doesn't mean "recent" but rather refers to a specific period and style associated therewith.

Nini and Rob are the best. As someone who has furnished lots of my home from HA, my advice is to keep in touch with them about what you're seeking, and visit regularly to see the new stock. They turn stuff over quickly and they also are willing to take on a piece with a couple of imperfections and price it accordingly. We got a beautiful Florence Knoll walnut dining table there for a steal because the veneer had a little warping that is imperceptible unless you're looking for it. Most vintage shops wouldn't have even bought that piece in the first place.

This seems very DIYable. Size plywood, cut neatly, drill keyhole, sand, stain, adhere photo with some kind of liquid adhesive, smooth, set, done.

Pallet, not palette.

Why do little kids sleep in double beds now? It is just preparing them to demand a California king when they grow up.

Is that an in-bookcase fireplace of some sort? I appreciate "bringing" some LA to DC, but maybe that should stay behind. We're a little bit more sensible than that around here.
