We just purchased a GE Cafe range for our kitchen renovation. It has a lot of the features you would find in higher end ranges (think Wolf, Thermador) but without the high price tag and it comes in standard 30in opening. Check smaller local retailers for the best price. We bought ours from a locally owned appliance store for 700 less than what the Great Indoors and others had it on sale for.

Glad I didn't taken them up on their 6.95 subscription offer. I just recieved another email about that today, which is a bit deceptive if they are not going to put out another year's worth of magazines.

In the past when a magazine has folded mid-subscription for me, the publisher replaces it with a similar magazine.

I believe Villa Tugendhat was the inspiration for the house described in Simon Mawer's The Glass Room.

In Dallas we have Cliff Mays and around the Lake Highlands/White Rock Lake area Ju-Nel homes are coveted MCM gems.

Love the Bruce Marsh table. You are so luck to have one of his pieces! We have one in our home as well. We were fortunate to meet Bruce on a trip to NYC and was able to place an order with him. He is such a nice guy and his craftsmanship is top notch.

If you like the look of black how about a large area rug or using carpet tiles from Flor? They have tons of colors that could give you the black look you want without ruining the hardwood floor.

Who did the cabinetry in the kitchen? I love the solid fronts with the exposed edge of the wood.

Anyone know where one can get that orange floating nightstand in picture number 3?

Does anyone know where I can find a bent metal wall mounted bedside table? A while back I found one online - it was sort of z shaped and allowed for a place to have lamp on the table part and then underneath you could store a book or magazine. I seem to recall it either being stainless steel or powder coated metal.
