I love the Roz painting of the child with the umbrella. I found her on Etsy and commissioned an original painting from her 2.5 ft. x 3 ft and it turned out beautifully and her prices are very reasonable! I made this last night. I was great, had never made it before. I substituted cabbage for the spinach and it worked well. The best part, it took only about 30 minutes from start to bowl! Weekend Meditation: Making Soup in My Mother's Kitchen | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

I think you should use colors in the same palette, for example, your dining room gets alot of natural light, if you aren't planning on using heavy drapes or curtains I would do a darker color, then possibly one shade lighter in the living room. So the colors are in the same 'family' and will compliment each other well. Where Should the Color Line Be? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

Friends of ours got them and they rave about them, but I wish they were a little more affordable. $100 for a small 2x3 mat is a little on the high side. Product Review: GelPro Kitchen Mat | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

Yes, I cook with garlic powder and use it for many of the things you listed above. I use it alot in lieu of fresh garlic because my husband can't stand biting into garlic pieces, this way he gets the garlic taste but not actually eating the garlic. We just bought a house and for some reason, it was built WITHOUT a linen closet. Our bathroom however has a very strange empty alcove next to the tub. We ended up using the IKEA Expedit bookcase like this one as a way to store our towels in our bathroom. As long as we keep them folded everything looks neat Apartment Therapy DC | Inspiration Roundup: Open Display Towel Storage |

It's a tie between Pumpkin Fritters and Pumpkin Pancakes. A good friend gave me a recipe a while ago for the fritters and I try to make then every fall. The great thing about them is they can go savory or sweet depending on toppings or the entree. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Five Ways to Eat: Pumpkin |
