Thanks for the very *thorough* review, MidoriMonsta :) Maybe I'll just try replacing the slats and see if that helps, they look fine to the eye, but in the last month they have been falling through constantly.

If every picture were of Gryffin none of the other small spaces would even have a shot =) Oh, and awesome home, by the way.

Awesome place, but after going through the last pic now I can only think of the toilet with the seat up. Please put the lid down in a picture or real estate listing, people!! I beg of you!

*sniff sniff* my bike got stolen this weekend :( Silly me, I shouldn't have left it unattended in a controlled access garage, in the bike storage, chained to a pole. Next time I'll be more careful. Ugh.

My husband said he would rather go back to Iraq (and get shot again!) than step foot in Twentynine Palms again.

Tiny kitchen in my apartment, that space gets utilized 100%! pots, pans, & lids go up there, my husband and I are both tall so there is only the occasional balancing act on the counters to find something. Plus, we cook a lot so things get used enough that mouse poop/whatever won't accumulate. And how hard is a quick rinse if it's dusty?

Who wants to crawl on the ground while cooking, like in the first pic? Mine is on the counter, under a lower cabinet, and pretty inconspicuous. Now the toaster oven... ugh. It's home is on top of the fridge, but according to my husband it's wherever he plugged it in to make toast that day. I once threatened to throw it off the balcony if it was still there when I came home from work the next day.

Why don't you just find an old brass lamp at a thrift store and wrap a ribbon around a white shade to replicate the look?
