It would work in a similarly kitch setting. I could see it in a loft apartment with aged brick walls and odd ephemera and rusty vintage items here and there. But not - definitely not - in any traditional home.

The clock in #5 looks like a Big Ben Moon Beam, though possibly a vintage one. You can get similar ones at L.L Bean.

I'd offer to replace it if I were the guest, although, as the hostess, I would never expect anyone to do so. Glass is fragile. Sometimes it breaks.

I use Deva Curl "Low Poo." It's helped my scalp out tremendously and seems to be a good balance between those harsher shampoos and nothing at all. There's also "No Poo," but I've heard it makes your hair greasy.

Add me to this list of driven-up-the-wall victims. If people like grouping their books by color so much, why don't they just make their own book jackets for them and keep them in logical order?
