There is nothing wrong buying a gift on Craigs (or a resale store or elsewhere). The only reason I could possibly think of is if you weren't sure about the item as there wouldn't be a gift receipt. I used Mythic for ours. It's a premium line of latex no VOC paints. The coverage and color was really nice. Especially this time of year where youd likely need to paint inside (as even a closed garage may be too cold for paint to try well) you want to make sure you're not putting your family at risk.
