Wait a second; so you have a bucket of cedar chips as a toilet? I am so confused by that, unless you're bunnies or guinea pigs, in which case, I am SUPER impressed. Lynne's Antique Barn Outdoor Kitchen My Great Outdoors |

Warm summer nights in San Francisco? I can only assume you're referring to one of the South American San Franciscos, or that comment was made entirely in jest. Unless 54 is your idea of warm? Do-It-Yourself Hanging Bench Sweet Paul |

Evernote is also a great "pinboard" option. But my advice is to pick one. Between my blog, evernote and pinterest, I can never remember where I put the info for that great website I'm trying to think of. . . . Why Pinterest Won't Be Replacing My Inspiration Wall |

You just asked a girl with 14 prints of animals in suits if she was a fan of adding whimsy to a decorating scheme. We're in the process of this now. I like "stuff." My boyfriend, not so much. But the "stuff" he likes and wants to display isn't always what I would choose. I figure because he tolerates my stuff in such mass quantities, I can accept the few pieces he wants out, strange as they may be (a chunk of the asphalt from the street in front of our old San Francisco apartment comes to mind). I also try to select stuff(s) I like that incorporate his interests as well. It seems to have been working so far! Couples Quandary: Making Collections Work Together |

I am the one that is away, and my boyfriend sent me a video of how spotless (and rearranged) the house is under his care. He's been working his butt off and the place looks GREAT. I should go away more often. :) The Secret Habits of Suddenly Single People |

Would've been great if Maxwell had thought to mention his obviously cool lamp that was peeking into the shot of his very warm room. Using the opposite "temperature" on certain items can really make them pop, especially since you can definitely find warmer, cool colors out there if that makes sense. . . I agree with the skin on, pit in advice. Though I read a review that said they don't last any better in the fridge than they do on the counter; either way you only get a day or two out of them once they're cut. What Is the Best Way to Store Half an Avocado? Good Questions |
