I think you should adorn your home how ever you see fit, guests are only spending a finite amount of time but you are the one living there.

I love Schiele, but if I really thought that one of his pieces (or my some of my own work for that matter) would really offend another's sensibilities enough to put a damper on the evening I would move it (temporarily of course.)

I vote for people to get over their fear of art nudity.

Paperkite,
If it would fit maybe the hose from a shower head? It might look more industrious.

Something like that maybe?

Great Idea: Wrap It in Twine

I don't think four burners are absolutely necessary. The most I have ever used is three and it isn't often enough to legitimize having it.

This is especially true in small apartments. I do not understand why the tiny one bedroom I share with my boyfriend has a full scale fridge, stove oven, and a double sink (no dishwasher unfortunately) but absolutely no counter space. For better functionality and a probably more eco friendly choice I would definitely choose a double burner.

This is a great idea. Perfect if you move a lot. I think it would be great too for college kids.

I really love the new shade! I might have taped off the brass parts to add some contrast to the white, but it still looks nice.

My first time to experience diy failure was quite recent, it also became my first blog post. (happylimes.com)

Sometimes there are just factors beyond your control, like the wiring being too old in your apartment to install a ceiling fan without killing the electricity in the rest of your room.

It's also better to make it because you can control the proportions of sodium and spice. Kimchi is not too difficult to make I'll post a tutorial on it soon! www.happylimes.com

Make! If you make it in smaller batches its not so over whelming to mix or use baby heads of cabbage instead of the bigger ones.
