I feel really out of touch reading this. We use the dryer maybe twice a year and otherwise line dry everything. We have racks for the smaller items and then strung a set of lines like one would see outside in our basement. Saves money and the enviroment.

One thing to keep in mind if you have either kids or dogs, is that you absolutely should not use the metal edging. Its so sharp that it little fingers, toes, and paws. My poor mastiff ended up cutting a tendon =(
Its definetely worth it to purchase materials where you know no one will get hurt.

Personally, Im loving the bathroom but like a few others have said a white or yellow shower curtain will balance out the blue.
This one here looks pretty nice.
If the current rod is only nailed in, just pull it out and move it though.

Good timing on this post! I have a chaise lounge that is in desperate need of re-upholstering as its my dogs favorite resting place. The only thing that Im worried about is this huge cushion without much structure to it. I may have to give it a shot though.

I just made my first batch of homemade vanilla extract. So easy and in the long run cheaper than buying little bottles of mystery extract.

I live in Colorado and live for the cool fall days that bring Hatch chilis up to our area. The farmers markets have roasters and I usually pick up a bushel to freeze. We put them in stews, cornbread, dips, and lots of other things. The canned just dont compare.

I got great deals on the two fondue sets that I own. The first I found at Ross was about $30 for a stainless steel set. The second was a la creuset set that I picked up at Goodwill for $15. It was in perfect shape just a little dusty.

We use ours almost daily for chicken, thin steaks, sandwiches, and veggies. For all the people that are asking why not use a skillet or grill pan, I use the Foreman because its nonstick and I cook more at one time. I frequently will use it to cook chicken breasts for dinner and then make extra for lunch the next day,
