wow, what a hidden treasure!

I's shocked that somebody would pay $100 for these and then pay more to make them even uglier...

I went to staples the other day to recycle a blue and white mac g3 that had been in my closet for years. I remember seeing a sign in the window, but when I got to the store and asked where to bring the tower they asked for a $10 fee. huh?! I brought the computer home and put it out on the street and it was taken within the hour. now thats brooklyn recycling!

these folks have a real eye for combining old and new, but I can't help think that the space itself could be a little more finished. the plywood floor and the crappy paneling on the ceiling stand out to me. If they can afford some of the things in that loft, I'm thinking it would be a real step in the right direction to resolve some details...

two thumbs up for this house! so nice to see a house that isn't all new and matching. love the mismatching and cool thoughtful ideas. my favorite is that fucked up leather chair, even indiana jones would be proud of owning that bad boy!

I'm glad I got a coupla folks to think about how expensive a renovation like this would be. as AT grows I for one vote against the pro interior stories as they are just silly - I mean how many of you can buy a house, or an apt. rather in NYC, hire an architect, and a designer, do a full renovation? these folks tore out the whole house and then replaced everything with the cool new expensive thing! if these folks really want to show off, why don't they tell you their real budget?!

you know, that has got to be silliest thing ever. why put a faux fire place in your apt just to put candles in it? why not just get the dvd of the fireplace, at least that has some kitch value...
