MMMM I LOVE tomatoes. A friend of mine just made the most delicious tomato salad - if I get the recipe from her I'll be sure to pass it on. Another one of my favorites is this Tomato Salad with Green Beans and Anchovy Dressing. Enjoy!

First of all - to the above comment's spicy mayo - YUM.

I LOVE sweet potato fries. Normal fries just don't really do it for me, but sweet potato fries? I'm basically a fiend.

If you find yourself with some leftover sweet potatoes and want a healthy snack/sweet treat, try out this simple Sweet Potato Mash-Up. Not only do you get delicious sweet potatoes, but it's also made with flax seed oil, so it's good for you!

Mac and cheese is definitely one of the ultimate comfort foods. This looks delicious and I can't wait to try it out. If you're craving more than just the aforementioned occasional indulgence but don't want to completely derail any healthy eating habits you may have been trying to stick to, try out this recipe for Healthy Macaroni and Cheese. It would be foolish to say that it's just as good as the above version, but for a low fat option, it definitely hits the spot! Enjoy!

I love that bedspread. Saw it a few months ago, didn't buy it, don't really need it but still REALLY want it.

Hmm I've actually been pondering this combo recently. My apartment is very much done with a red theme - studio with white walls, but bedspread is red, striped red/white rug, etc. I want to get one of those west elm mini parsons tables and my natural inclination is to go for white (hence why all of my other furniture is for the most part white), but I just love the wheatgrass color. this has definitely provided me with a little inspiration...

Barley pilaf is definitely one delicious way to prepare barley - we prepare ours with Artichoke and Walnut. And although pistachios may be off limits right now, once they're safe again another delicious recipe to try is this recipe for Lamb, Barley and Pistachio Kofte or Turkish meatballs. Enjoy!

Goat really is a delicious meat. Definitely one that I had previously felt a little weird about eating, but when it came down to taste, I found that I was definitely able to put my reservations aside. Although Winter is over, it's still chilly outside, so try out this recipe for Goat Stew with Quince and Hyssop. Enjoy!

Deftgirl - in our recipe for Ginger Miso Soup, we suggest placing the miso in a small bowl and adding a small amount of the soup's broth and mixing those together before adding it back to the soup. I'm not sure if that's the technique you were talking about above, but hopefully that should help.

Also, as far as using miso beyond just soup, check out this recipe for "A href="http://www.kitchencaravan.com/recipe/soba-noodles-tofu-miso-dressing"> Soba Noodles with Tofu Miso Dressing - it's delicious, energizing and makes for a perfect lighter meal.
