Thanks so much for the tip Lachmot! We still have part of the can left from the original painting, so we're good to go with the extra can being used for something so that we can enjoy the pretty color even more:) Mia and Nick's Fresh and Cheerful Shared SpaceNursery Tour | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

JillyF - Under the resources section, there's a link to my post on in. I basically made some really, really simple slipcovers by tracing the cushions as a pattern:) Mia and Nick's Fresh and Cheerful Shared SpaceNursery Tour | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

manequin - Thanks so much for the tips - I really appreciate the constructiveness! We {I} have plans for some built ins under the eave down the road - it's in a long line of projects waiting. Love the idea of with with blue backing for the bookshelf, and that would be such a simple project. I know it's not perfection, but we're really happy with the difference for now. If you see this again, I'd love your thoughts on picture placement. We had more pictures up, but it just seemed to make things even less pulled together and cluttered, so we just took them down to keep it simple for our little ones. Thanks again! I'm always torn between 2 and 3. I WANT the alone time, but I know how much I could accomplish errands-wise without kids, so I always try to combine a bit and not rush with the errands and also include a bit of time with a cup of tea and a book. Ooooh - maybe it is??? It definitely had an old cracked tupperware thing as the sink when I got it! We also found a signature from a grandfather to a grandchild on the bottom. We assumed it was because he made it, but maybe it was just a gift? Our sink is painted on, but just because we put a big piece of wood over the sink opening in lieu of trying to fit something exactly into the opening that was already there. -Lillian Salvaged Refurbished Play Kitchen | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

lyndsea ~ the knobs are a battle I lost with my husband:) I wanted to take them off and paint them(after he drilled them in;), he wanted to leave them. He won. We kind of like the natural element that it leaves to give a little nod to the original state! -Lillian Salvaged Refurbished Play Kitchen | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

Our 2.5 yr old naps most often in our bed. She shares a room with her brother and they don't nap at the same time, so this allows her some time to herself and she always sleeps for at least 3 hours in the afternoon still, so it works for me!
