If you love them as they are, and the problem (as you state it) is they don't go with your decor, you could use them while you think on it. Should I Paint These Vintage Lamps? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

I love this work and want to offer another name. Her pieces are not quite this irregular, but google Teresa Chang or go to her name (dot) com. She makes gorgeous hand-thrown tableware that I've been collecting for the last 10 years. My table makes me very happy! Objet Du Table | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

If this were my room, I'd probably leave it all white. But if someone was determined to paint a wall with color, I'd recommend that wall be the one with the window. Warm or Cool Colors for Living Room? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

I'd like to take the healthy suggestion of this post, but -- like teacupcake -- I love cable more than just about everything. Flove it. Hope to recover one day, but for now, cable and the dvr are my bestest friends.. Apartment Therapy Chicago | The Best Thing We Ever Got Rid Of |

Offtza, the important part is turning off the breaker switch that controls that circuit, or (in old, old apartments), taking out the fuse. When you are CERTAIN that the power is off for that fixture at the circuit box, the rest is really basic. There may be directions with the fixture or you can find some online. DO NOT think you can just tweak it when the power is back on. Then you'll be fine. Apartment Therapy New York | The Spring Cure: Light Therapy Week 6 - Intro |

kdkaboom, one of my cats was clawing my seriously expensive Tibetan rug I had waited all my life to have. Turned out the best solution was to put one of those horizontal scratchers (made from corrugated cardboard) right where she was attacking. Cardboard beat wool. I think another factor in this phenomenon is we have our faucets higher above counter height than they used to be. When they were almost as low as the top of the sink, it was a lot harder to splash beyond the sink even at full water pressure. I'm smitten by your LR rug. Could you possibly tell me from where it came? (Before ABC Carpet, that is.) Apartment Therapy New York | House Tour: Alberto and Jeff Inhabit an Icon (Phase I) New York |
