this is a rental right ? how can you make all these changes on a rental ?
I can see a rug, curtains , accessories - colorful canisters - to accent a color you want.
even some peel off wall paper - even as a back splash - painting the cabinets and putting up gaudy tile .. wow..... you have balls.

a pale gray wall will compliment many colors like your pink tile. I think black and white urban modern showercurtain- and a rug that looks like a manhole cover - and an over the potty- shelf in straight lines to hold your rolled bath and hand towels and some baskets for bath products and scented soaps in a crystal dish.

I would consider painting the present tile with garage floor paint that has flecks in it -

I suggest a solution of oxyclean to soak the old tile for 5 or 10 min. to deep clean it - I chose white appliances and am very happy stainless is fine but a trend - we have the old harvest gold frige in the garage for soda.

when I was in school many years ago the teacher had a pull down map and/or spelling words - anatomy - I think would it would add a interesting conversational impact to the room up for daylight down for instant decor and privacy
