Hey noche70,

It's Flipclock for Mac found here: http://www.geekalerts.com/flip-clock-screensaver/

I have it on my computer at home - it's the bomb!

The magic eraser is amazing for cleaning grout in my shower tiles. :) Swear by that thing!

I know this is a long shot, but where can I get the brown/walnut chair from the first picture? It's stunning!

I always unpack the kitchen first.
Then I start putting together major furniture (most of my stuff is Ikea so that means putting together the kitchen table, the shelves, the bed).
Then I populate those big items...the rest is little things here and there (i.e. bathroom, etc).

:) That's my attack plan and seems to work well! Can't wait to hear what everyone else does.

I love the bed frame in photo 6 (the black tall frame). Where can I find something like that?

I don't live in the States (I'm from Canada, eh?) but I entered anyway because I am in desperate need of a Dyson. Read: white haired fluffy cat.

Nuff said :)

G'luck to all!!

My gf puts them in her windows as decoration and strings lights all around. :)

I use them for decorating as present toppers! And then my nieces and nephews get them to play with and decorate with after they open their presents. They collect them now.

I'm located in Canada and right now we've had a fairly warm fall but normally my place is very well heated (as I'm in an older bldg with water heating) so one all-season comforter is sufficient.

I have a heavier winter comforter for when it gets very chilly. :) I love sleeping in layers!

I light a candle as well - Apple Valley is what it's called. Light scent. Everyone always walks in and tells me it smells delicious. :) And the flickering of the flame is a nice ambience as well.

I live in a studio so my desk sits literally across from my bed. I know that people preach that work and sleep should be separate and in an ideal world, I'd have an office.

But to ensure I get my sleep, I ensure the computer is off at least an hour before I go to sleep and I sleep facing the other direction so I'm not tempted to run back over and squeeze in some more work.

I'm Polish and we also have a no shoe rule. Most of our family knows to bring their own slippers. :) But just in case we do have a spare set or two!

In my apt I've incorporated the same rule - no shoes in my place. I've never had anyone ask me to keep them on. Perhaps it's also a Canadian thing?

Two things are missing:
1. My kitten napping in a ball beside me
2. My Country Home Apple Valley candle lit so it fills the room with a fall-y scent :)

I love the USB hubman and give it to my laptop friends. Sometimes you need to plug in quite a few USB devices and some laptops (*ahem* like my Macbook) don't have enough plugs. :)

They run about $20 and are a great little gift. My friends all ask where I got mine. :)

My blowdryer and other hair accessories are in a tall Malm dresser outside my bathroom. My bathroom is very small (I live in a studio) and so there's no room for anything in there but basic necessities. :)

I live in a bachelor so I have one room that is my everything. My desk isn't directly next to the bed but it's close enough. I power it down and use an Umbra floor divider between my bed and the desk at night so I don't see it.

Sometimes I have a hard time sleeping when I see the laptop cos I think of all the things I should be doing when I really should be sleeping lol. This solves the problem nicely...that is until I can get a one bedroom and keep my laptop hooked up to my tv in the living room. :P

I live in a studio apartment so yes my TV is in my bedroom (perse) but there's no way around it right now. I try not to watch tv past a certain time so I force myself into getting 7 hours sleep but it doesn't always work. :)

Good intentions tho!
