Baking soda.

I know that bleach, washed out would be all right for a pan, but just the thought of using bleach in something I cook in, gives me the shivers.

Plus, I don't keep any bleach in the house.

I wish I knew this 2 days ago when BF spilled 8 eggs all over the floor.

We used a dustpan to clean it up

I had the opposite reaction to jeffnyc.

I found it relaxing, calm and beautiful

The natural light streaming in is really beautiful. And I love quiet, restful places with water around me...

I stopped using dryer sheets a year ago.

The residue from the sheets used by other tenants in our building, are sufficient.

If I eat too many of them, I get canker sores. Beware!

Don't use them in cooking. :) Just enjoy them.

Wow. That 100 year old egg looks amazing.

I love abalone, and any kind of weird food from my childhood except for bitter melon. Gross. Mmmmm that looks amazing.

@slowdown, they taste like a kind of creamy flavour on your tongue, not salty, just a creamy flavour that's hard to describe.

A bit geltainous..

It looks gross, but is AWESOME in congee and I could eat a big bowl of it every day with some sliced pork.

They do not taste or smell like sulfur and

Honestly, I'd leave it alone and get rid of the 2 shelves LOL!!!

Sorry. Am a minimalist at heart.

Ahem.

Now for a real suggestion. How about a slim cabinet the width of the shelves (what do they call those things.. banquettes?) to slide up against the wall so that it's functional AND it matches the shelves above so it doesn't look like a mistake?

Or, put a picture there :)

I am just DYING at the picture above and the descriptions

I totally agree that people pass on germs through the recycled air in the cabin but.. I am just picturing that one husband mentioned above totally covered from head to toe LOL!!!!!

My top picks:
- iPod & Good noise cancelling headphones (I load videos in MP4 on there too, watching Sex and the City)

- A book in case you get tired of music

- A sweater/blanket to stay warm

- A travel pillow for your head

- Comfy slip on and off shoes (PLEASE WEAR SOCKS)

- Some snacks. I hate airplane snacks.

I lived like that for 2 years. Out of a little suitcase.

Was the best 2 years of my life :) I lived in hotels most of the time (all comped by the company) and all my food paid for, even on the weekends.

That's what really sparked my desire to become a minimalist and to cut down

I learned to live with less and live using the best.

I LOVE potatoes. Done mashed, baked, boiled, fried, chopped, in salads.. you name it.

My favourite is mashed or in a fry form however...

Thanks for the run down.

It looks good. But I'd need a MASSIVE DESK so I could spread out my papers and items all around me so I wouldn't have to reach, but swivel for things.

I'd like only ONE dark wall in a colour that isn't very dark, like a deep fuschia or blue.

NO shelves behind me (deathly afraid of things falling on my head) and nothing that looks like a funeral home (first pic)

Less is more for me, but not sterile. I like a bit of fun artwork, colourful bedding or pillows

Everything white or beige would make me sad.
