Hey guys! Erin, the question poser, here! So, my cat doesn't ever hurl - thank, God. No fur balls to contend with - just his overwhelming desire to destroy rugs. It seems that he is drawn to the corner of rugs - no matter how many scratching toys I provide. Ugh.

Try using Adobe Kuler...it's a wonderful tool for picking color palettes. Love it!

Thanks for your comments, Ingrid and Sydney. No worries, I'm glad to hear what everyone thinks--the good and the bad. I guess that I think it's the details that make my apartment cool. Especially since I'm a renter and I can't make larger changes (e.g. painting the walls, adding new built-in lighting, etc.). They're the little touches that make it uniquely me.

Waylon, are you referring to the bookcase in the living room? If so, it's a built-in unit.

The coffeemaker is from Bloomingdales--they're the only ones that sell it in that color.
