thanks for the contacts. has anyone tried reaching out to a production designer before? are they willing to pass on information, or too busy to take notice of such humble queries? Apartment Therapy - Good Questions: How To Find Out More About Film Set Design Elements? |

really perfect, but i wouldn't expect anything less. the felt doors on the bathroom make me cringe a little but other than that, i would move in. Inside Out: Max and Sara Kate's Small Really is Cool! |

ange_lune-- I'm a college student at uPenn in philadelphia so i totally understand the "live cheap in philly" pursuit. Philadelphia is a great place to visit, live, stay-- anywhere in the middle (around walnut, spruce, locust streets) is nice pretty much throughout. In lower philly this is called olde city, there is also center city (18th and walnut is rittenhouse square-- equivalent to central park), and around 37th-41st is university city (where i live). i don't think there are any hostels but i'm sure you can find some cheap hotels and maybe even some college sublet that is willling to give you the place for a few nights (check craigslist, maybe). as long as you stay around spruce-walnut-locust and below 40th street you should be in a good area. but if you want to be closest to the best restaurants and clubs, try to stay even further downtown (under 20th street). enjoy philadelphia, it is absolutely the best!! I just bought really great Blik red iron vines wall decals to use in my all-white bathroom, but before I put them up I wanted to know if anyone had experience with wall decals in high-humidity situations before. Will they begin to peel after a while? If so- how long did they last? Open Thread 360 |
