Thanks so much all!! I am now torn between the Miami Vice Theme and the pink flamingos!! I will let you know how it turns out!

We just signed the lease on a house that is much smaller. Being relocated for work from Vegas to DFW and moving from 1267 sq ft to 968 sq ft. I am feeling a little overwhelmed over what I can have, as the kitchen is the largest space in the new place, but it is what we have the lease of to fill! And now thinking about it, I am really hoping that our King size bed fits in the new bedroom or I may cry! I cannot give that up! So freaking a little and not even sure how to reduce that many square feet for 2 adults, a child and a dog! At least the new place has a garage and a large yard!

I recently went to the Salvation Army Thrift store on Durango. I had a great ball there! I love mid century modern and boy, did I see things from that era! Real blast from the past stuff...

I really just went to see if they had cheap baby blankets for my puppies crate... Got those too, pretty good shape for 50 cents each!

And I love getting strangers work shirts with the names on them, so funny!

I am really digging this place. Would love to know where the rug in the living room came from. We will be replacing the current wall to wall with hardwood laminate (we live in las vegas, have two dogs and two kids, real wood is not for us) but would love to find a red toned modernish rug to put in the room.... Love the boldness of this one!

I have to ask, where did that super cute picture come from? I have a room that is almost that color, and it would look great on the contrast wall!

I went from normal land line to VoiP which I liked, but everyone who knows both me and my husband call the cell phones anyway and no one ever called the house, so we finally cut to the chase and cut the VoiP also. However, canceling vonage is like trying to get out of a cult, they just do not want to let you go!! Good service, but since I did not use it anyway that money can go in my gas tank!

I have used these pendant lights before. They were actually quite attractive, but we did have a little issue shortening them and still having them stay tight and flush to the ceiling, after a little fooling around it did stay up and flush and they looked great! We had the ones almost like the picture above, but with a blue shade.

2. I would love blik mod in Graphite and snow... and fly in the grey midnight combo..

3. We just bought a condo... and have very little in the way of decoration... My hubby and I have an 18 yr old who just moved out on her own (we are 43 and 37) and a 7 yr old son with us. We gave most of our stuff to our daughter to start her out, which means we left little for our own condo!! I have huge ideas for the space, but little means to act upon most of it... I have used blik years ago in our old place back in NY, and keep pulling up the site now because we want to buy some, but just cannot afford yet. (closing costs were big, plus moving cost... and then of course a little paint (did not want white walls anymore!)
We would love to be able to add some pizzaz to the new space, and with our dk grey rugs, and the grey flooring and counters in grey tones, either the mod in grey and white, or fly in graphite will rock! We already have a large red accent wall to offset all the grey, so this would be perfect!

I love the different patterns on here. I also love that they can roll up. I used to have the kind that attached to window, this is a more versitile option.

I agree with the shower curtain with pockets, I have been using them for years. I have attached a link, but I have seen them other places also. Once you have a shower curtain up in front of it, you cannot see any of your products at all, and since the pockets are mesh, you do not get any gross buildup. And it does not matter if you keep the shower curtain open or closed, you will not see a thing!
