I rented from Horizon for three years and just recently moved out. I had constant problems with the company fixing things, maintaining things, following up on promises, etc. I hope she beats the lawsuit and warns future tenants in the city of Chicago what a terrible service they provide.

If in the Ravenswood/Lincoln Square area, I always enjoy browsing at Ravenswood Antique Mart. They have some great mid-century finds. A bit pricey, but it's fun to see their set ups and get ideas. Located at 4727 North Damen, very close to all the other suggested Andersonville shops.

I also enjoy foursided in Andersonville. Their prices are reasonable and I always can go home with a little something, which is always a success in my book! Primary focus is unique framing, but includes a mix of vintage finds and new art/gifts. Located at 5061 North Clark
