Is there anything people *don't* like at TJs, aside from the fish (except the salmon burgers), and possibly the cold brew concentrate and the pie crusts? Because at this point I think we have listed most of the store - oh, except the bran flakes! I love the bran flakes.

If you go on Sunday, you'll find a much smaller selection of dealers. I did this last year for the first time, and maybe half of the dealers had packed up on Saturday night for the drive home. If you want the best deals, Friday or Saturday are the days to go.

Another vote against black and white tiles, speaking as someone who has them in a vintage kitchen. The white ones look grimy year round no matter what I scrub them with, and the black ones get dirty in the winter. We hope to replace our kitchen floor just as soon as we finish paying for the house painting coming up this spring.

I keep a clear shoebox (which cost $1 at ACMoore) in the bathroom closet full of samples, clean sample containers and travel sizes to draw from whenever one of us travels, or when I feel like indulging in something new without leaving the house or spending money. My motley assortment of FAA-approved clear zip bags goes underneath in another shoebox. Stacking makes me feel so virtuous!

My media fast will include (1) continuing my kitchen re-org from last weekend (is it taking anyone else this long to finish?), (2) birthday dinner with family and (3) the new Lisa Genova novel, Left Neglected. Oh, how I love flannel sheets and a good book.

Does anyone else have kid's toy issues to deal with? The major areas of blockage in our house have to do with overflowing stuff my child plays with now and then, and which aren't easily packable (e.g., a puppet theater, a dollhouse). I have corralled the art supplies and board games, but we don't live in a large enough house to have a dedicated play room so there is a bit of play in every room. I just don't like how it looks. Any suggestions?

These were a bit disappointing. The dough came out too crumbly for me, as it had for ts, and I had to roll the teaspoon-sized balls of dough between my palms to get them to adhere before putting them on the baking sheet.
