The current owl design trend is beginning to seem like a simple go-to for absolutely everyone. I've always enjoyed vintage owl pieces and contemporary ones when they first started popping up, but it's become stifling (though, of course, they are very cute). Thoughts?

Funny how warm and inviting a space can be even if it is mostly black and white. It's all in the splashes of color. I especially like the way that wooden chair stands out even though it's not a bold or sharply contrasting color (like the red lanterns are, though they are interesting in a different way!).
