I totally agree SKEEMER118, I was so glad to see ELIAS stick up for her husband and that awesome treehouse. Lately there have been alot of snarky comments on here, they always anger me, Apartment Therapy didn't have as many rude commenters when I started following a few years back, or maybe I didn't notice. I don't remember people on AT being so RUDE when I first started reading it years ago. This place is not dirty, cluttered or anything like that, its lived in, and THAT is what AT is about as I remember. Jealous much?? That before picture was seriously fugly. Im all about saving beautiful wood antique furniture but come on. You CANNOT BE SERIOUS! That was a piece of s#!* It looks waaaay better. Not what I expected but still better than before. I would have painted it another color, but anything is better than the before, it didn't even look like real wood. I have to agree the faux-antique is not good. I like the dark frame on the before pic. It could also look good painted a lighter color, I guess its just the faux finish I don't like.
