This is so cool and unique. I love mostly everything I see here on AT, but with so much mid-century modern and contemporary (which I do love), it is refreshing to see this truly artistic and eclectic home!

What I do like is that it forces you to edit. However, I think that this works better in a small studio for one or two people...In my house with kids and husband closed shelving works best. I don't even think I'd be able to do glass cabinets! A friend has it in her studio unit and it is perfect as she lives alone and only has 4 to 6 glasses and place settings, no real serving platters, etc... Great for a vacation spot as well.

I love it! I recently visited a neighbor's garden that was on a tour in North Hollywood. There were parts of her garden that had not been watered in 4 years I was told! Native plants that are beautiful. Her garden is really lovely and unique, filled with art and garden gnomes and it's simply wonderful to look at.

JUST BEAUTIFUL! I love the kitchen cabinets!!!!! Fabulous. Love your mix and can totally identify with your love of mid-century and not knowing exactly what to call your style. I am the same way. I love the mix of colors and texture, vintage, global, mid-century...they all blend. Also, love the cat "bowls," what a great idea and oh so elegant. Thanks for sharing-all the colors and textures just made my day, but those cabinets are simply beautiful furniture! I am inspired!

This home reminds me of the decor of Berkeley homes in the late 70's and 80's when I grew up. Hence, the David Lance Goines prints. It is serene and lovely.

This home is absolutely beautiful. Everything is done to perfection; the inside, outside, etc. Thank you for sharing! It is obvious that your children will be growing up and sent off to college from this house because I can't imagine ever wanting to move or leave such a glorious space. Thanks so much for sharing!

North Hollywood Arts District (NOHO) is up and coming and has markets, coffee, restaurants, parks, galleries, theatres, dance studios, etc... all within walking distance. We moved in about 11 years ago and at the time the plans were in place for all of the gentrification that has taken place and once they put in the Metro and Starbucks... bam! It is great and affordable and close to Hollywood as well as other parts of the Valley.

What a beautiful home! It looks so absolutely comfortable and crisp. I love craftsman homes and although I love the typical dark wood, etc...I love it when the wood trim, moulding, etc. is painted white. It captures a traditional, yet modern look. That white chair is gorgeous and I love the drum pendant light. I could go on...

This is very fresh and beautiful. I love a rustic, yet modern and uncluttered look. It reminds me of furniture designer Cisco Pinedo's home which I really love. With the white walls everything that does have color or is a unique item truly stands out. It also looks very comfortable and inviting.

Craigslist is wonderful! I cannot tell you how many items my husband and I have purchased and sold there. Our most recent purchase was a phenomenal set of perfect bunkbeds for our two boys! We have also purchased a camera, printer, television set, you name it. I agree with deirdre, whenever we are planning a purchase we ALWAYS look there first! You can buy new-but someone is always moving out of town or going through a life change where they must "get rid of something right away." If I want something specific, I always check back constantly under the specific heading and have had luck getting things that someone just posted. That has happened to us as well. We post something and voila, minutes later we receive a call or e-mail and coordinate the sale. I cannot say enough fantastic things about the site. It is amazing!
